Does anyone have experience with this? I'd like to level an alt on my main account, but I can't stomach the 0-60 grind again. Can I do the recruit a friend thing and use the xp bonus to get a character on my main account to 60 quickly? Do I have to buy another copy of WoW to do this or is the trial I get good enough? Find a friend who wants to play. Recruit him/her and play together. You will level very fast this way. You can only get the xp bonus when you are grouped together, though. If you want to do this by yourself, you will need to buy a second account and game. And you'll have to dual-box. I suggest you find someone who already plays and also wants to level a new character fast. If you do it with someone new to the game, you risk creating a player who has no clue how to play his/her class. There are always posts in the general forums of people looking for an RAF partner. I don't mind dual boxing, but I don't want to buy a new account. Oh yeah...forgot about that. Trial accounts can't buy, sell or trade with other players. They can't use the AH or mail system. I believe the level cap is 20. I might be wrong there though. The difference between a regular trial account and a RAF trial is that the RAF player maintains his/her character while the regular trial account does not. So, Chebyshev, I suggest finding someone on the general forums (or elsewhere) who wants to do the RAF. Make a post with specifics about how you want the partnership to work. For instance, state that you want to use your original account. You should also state your goals and reasons for wanting to use the program.
